Step into a slice of Italy in the heart of Mosman, where artisanal panini, woodfired pizzettes, and house-made desserts bring authentic Mediterranean flavours to your table.

Walking through the doorway into the rustic cornucopia of gourmet delights that is Fourth Village Providore is like passing through a portal to the other side of the world; you feel like you’re in a local delicatessen in a quaint Italian town.
Instead, you’re in the very heart of Mosman. The noise of traffic and high street hubbub disappear once you’re inside this unassuming mini-warehouse of delicious Mediterranean offerings. Salamis, cheeses, sauces, canned and pickled delicacies and much, much more.
From Farm to Table: The Fourth Village Story
Fourth Village represents 30 years of carefully honed skill and knowledge in the food business. It began in 1997 when Peter and Annette Quattroville (which literally translates as “four villages”) bought land near the Hunter Valley and began planting their dream. Several thousand olive trees later, and with the assistance of their three sons, John, Sal, and Dominic, the Fourth Village has established itself as a premium label, producing olive oil, jams, condiments, infused oils, balsamic dressings, and traditional pickled vegetables, all made with seasonal ingredients from the farm.
Now, the family is introducing a new way to experience their delicious produce — the Fourth Village Panini Bar & Café.
It is a completely immersive experience and delight for all the senses. Sit at a table inside the little market, surrounded by wonderful displays of fresh produce and preserves, and enjoy the house-made focaccia, fresh burrata salads, pastries, woodfired pizzettes, and famed desserts including their distinctive panettone French toast, tiramisu by the slice or classic Italian gelato.
Must-Try Dishes: Panuozzo, Burrata Salads & More
The must-try dish is their centrepiece panuozzo, an Italian street food — the love-child of pizza and panini. Made with woodfired pizza bread and filled with gourmet ingredients, the signature panuozzo offerings include combinations like salami and mortadella with stracciatella, and a vegetarian option featuring chargrilled Mediterranean vegetables.
"While our restaurant has been a special place for many years, reopening as Fourth Village Panini Bar and Café has been a heartfelt evolution of our family's passion for sharing the authentic flavours of Italy with our community. The café brings a fresh and inviting space where everyone can enjoy our family recipes and traditions in a casual setting," says Dominic Quattroville.
A Family Legacy of Gourmet Excellence
“Most importantly, this new chapter honours our family's commitment to genuine Italian hospitality, where every guest is treated like family. We're creating a space where people can drop in any time of day, whether it's for a morning coffee and pastry, a relaxed lunch with friends, or a quick afternoon gelato. We're thrilled to offer this new experience and menu offering while continuing to create moments of joy over great food, just as we always have."
Benvenuti!
